Spring Is In the Air!
Spring is most definitely in the air! I have been having great fun designing and making lots of lovely new hats and fascinators ready for the Spring and Summer season, and things are definitely getting busy here with lots of new orders coming in for trips to the races and spring weddings! What's New for Winter
It's been rather a long time since I have written a blog post. But there is a very good excuse! I have been busy designing and making lots of new things that are especially suited to the chillier Winter months. In addition to my wide range of sinamay cocktail hats and fascinators (see my Etsy shop for more!), I now have in stock a wide selection of wool felt cocktail hats and cloche hats. Custom Order - Four Matching 'Alice' Fascinators for Bridesmaids
I'm really excited to share these photos of my latest custom order! I was recently contacted by a customer who had been admiring the fascinators in my Etsy shop, and wanted to know what other colours my 'Alice' Fascinator was available. Futher conversations revealed that she was looking to order four matching fascinators, in four different colours, for a party of bridesmaids for a French wedding. What an exciting prospect for me, and what a lovely idea for a bridal party!
The bridesmaids hadn't fully decided on the colours of their dresses at that point, and so I send various different colour options to my customers, with details of the costs involved for the various options that they were considering. A few weeks later, the colour options were confirmed and I set about ordering the materials that I needed. Another couple of weeks on and all four fascinators were completed and sent out to France for the wedding. I love this concept, and I really hope that I get to see some of the pictures!

Custom Order - Bespoke 'Cordelia' Fascinator in Navy Blue!
Today I thought that I would share with you some photos of my latest custom order. I was contacted by a customer who was looking a Navy Blue Fascinator, for a wedding that she was attending in just under a week's time! She had admired my 'Cordelia' Fascinators in my Etsy shop, and contacted me to enquire whether I was able to make her a bespoke version in Navy Blue. I checked that I was able order the materials in time, and confirmed that I was able to make her fascinator as a 'rush order'. It was posted out in good time, and arrived several days before it was needed - and I think it is rather lovely!
